Background

• Difficulties in the interaction between the functional customer and the IT service
• Need to set up a process model for PM management and automation requirements

Goal

Develop a Plant Maintenance management methodology to prepare for a corporate PM information system implementation project which was supposed to improve the efficiency of company production assets maintenance

Objectives

• Improve the quality of Plant Maintenance planning and control by means of creating standard work sheets and estimating the cost of such work
• Improve the quality and reliability of materials and resources reference and master data by means of developing methodologies and procedures for Materials Master Data Management (Materials MDM) to support Plant Maintenance processes

Results

• To Be end-to-end PM management processes were developed in terms of planning, with due regard to contractor management
• Methodologies were developed for the following:
  • Work cost estimation
  • Keeping record of completed works and utilized contractor and company resources
  • Maintenance of a materials and resources directory, in view of the PM process requirements, and determination of the resource requirement
• The processes of PM management, master data management, equipment database description were standardized and formalized for the subsequent implementation project
